Transferring Your App: How to Accept the Transfer

It may take two business days for the transfer to be complete. During this time, the app status will appear as “Processing Transfer.”

  1. Log in to: https://appstoreconnect.apple.com
  2. Click on Agreements, Tax, and Banking.
  3. Under Transfer Agreements and Contracts in Process, click Review next to the transfer request.
  4. Enter the new metadata, this should be completed with the organization’s information.
    • Metadata refers to the information you enter in App Store Connect (e.g., the app name, description, keywords and screenshots). Some of this information will appear on the App Store product page.
      • Company Name
      • Support URL: The support website you plan to provide for users who have questions regarding the app. The support URL must lead to actual contact information so that your users can contact you regarding app issues, general feedback, and feature enhancement requests.
      • Marketing URL: The website where users get more information about the app.
      • Privacy Policy: Apple requires that all apps must include a link to their privacy policy. If you do not already have a privacy policy for your app, one must be created. There are many privacy policy generators available online that you might find useful.
  5. Enter the Contact Information
    • App Review Contact information: You can put either QuickSeries information or your own. Apple will contact the App Review Contact if any issues arise with the app. For that reason, we would prefer it if you put our information in that field. That way, we would be able to work quickly and diligently in finding a solution for you.
      • App Review Contact Information for QuickSeries:
        • First Name: Justin
        • Last Name: Ledoux
        • Phone Number: 1-800-361-4653
        • Email Address: developer-account@quickseries.com
    •  App Store Contact Information: information should be filled with your organization’s information.
      • The Trade Rep is someone within the company who has the authority to represent the company. This info will be public and so we suggest a more general contact or someone who will handle your business’s external communications for the app.
  6. Read the terms, then check off “I have read and agree to the agreement presented above,”and click Accept.

Success! Once the transfer is complete, the app is in your App Store Connect account. It will no longer appear in the QuickSeries App Store Connect account.

Google

Transfer requests are typically processed by Google within 48 hours.

  • You will receive an email notification when the transfer is complete.
  • The app will appear in your list of apps under All Applications.
