With our new Grid Navigation, you can add a sleek navigation grid of icons directly within your Text Module. This feature allows app admins to guide users seamlessly to preferred app sections through customized, eye-catching icons.
As an app admin, you can add a navigation grid of icons to your Text Module. The icons can be chosen from our predefined list or you can upload your own. Grid navigation is a great way to drive your users to the modules you want them to go to. It can be altered or deleted at any time.
Here’s how it works.
In the Text Module, put your cursor in the spot where you would like the grid navigation to appear.
Then click on the grid icon at the top of the content window.
Clicking on the grid brings up the grid navigation selector window. There you check off the available modules on the left that you would like to add to the grid navigation.
Please note: only modules that are assigned to the side menu can be selected.
Once you have selected the modules you want, select Add.
Once you are satisfied, click on the Save button.
Then you can publish the module and your changes will appear on your app.
You can upload and add custom icons to the side menu and the navigation grid.
Personalize icons by clicking Settings in the left-hand menu, then App Modules & Links, and then Modules and Links Manager.
Click on Edit at the top right of the page to make changes. Click on the icon you wish to personalize.
Click on Upload a Custom Icon.
You can drag and drop your custom image file. The file should be at least 72 pixels by 72 pixels and can be a png, jpg, or gif. For best results, the icon should be transparent.
Once selected, click on Upload and then click Save at the top right of the page.
And you’re done! Your icon will now be visible both in the side menu and as a navigation icon if you are using the grid in the text module.
